FALL

Creative Arts Showcase

Menlo’s student artists have been creating everywhere you look. Onstage, in studios, and across campus, they’ve been experimenting, refining their craft, and finding their voices through the arts. The result is work that feels thoughtful, expressive, and alive. Here are a few moments that capture the energy of our creative arts community.

MIDDLE AND UPPER SCHOOL

Menlo School Drama Presents Its Fall Season

This fall, our Middle and Upper School performers took on two beloved tales and made them entirely their own. The Snow Queen shimmered with magical moments and fierce devotion as Gerda braved an icy world to rescue her brother. HUMBUG! sparkled with music, humor, and warmth, offering a fresh take on Dickens’ classic message of redemption.

From first read-throughs to final bows, watch how students shape character, build connection, and transform familiar stories into live theater.

Upper School Drama Presents HUMBUG! A Menlo Carol

UPPER SCHOOL

Upper School Winter Concert

The Upper School Winter Concert featured a broad and thoughtfully curated performance, highlighting collaboration across Menlo’s instrumental and vocal music programs. Much of the repertoire—rarely played by high school music programs—was orchestrated specifically for this ensemble by Orchestra Director Leo Kitajima Geefay, shaped by student interests and the unique composition of the group. One example was Oscar Winning Tears, arranged for both vocalists and instrumentalists, resulting in a performance that reflected the depth and versatility of the department.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School Winter Concert

Festive spirit filled the stage at the Middle School Holiday Concert as Sing!, Singing Club, dance students, and the Middle School Ensemble performed an evening of music and movement. From “Hashivenu” to “Let It Go,” students showcased singing, drumming, and dance that captured the joy of the season.
